Kwechis

Privacy

What Kwechis holds about you, where it came from, and how to make it stop.

Who is responsible

The controller of everything on this page is Ephraim Enekwechi, trading as Kwechis, Świerzawska 4, 60-321 Poznań, Poland. Write to hello@kwechis.com about any of it.

This website

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Its fonts, films and images are served from this server, and the page loads nothing from anywhere else.

There are no analytics.

Like any web server, this one keeps an access log: the network address each request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the description your browser gives of itself. It is used to keep the site running and secure, and the host’s settings delete it within two months.

If you write to us

Your message is kept in the hello@kwechis.com mailbox for as long as the conversation, and any work that comes of it, needs it. It is used to answer you and for nothing else.

If we wrote to you first

Kwechis writes to people at organisations that have published research, offering to turn a figure from it into a film. If that is how you heard from us, this is what we hold:

Addresses come from public places only: the report, the press release that announced it, and your organisation’s own website. Where a public LinkedIn post or profile is noted, a person read it and wrote it down. Nothing collects anything from LinkedIn automatically.

We rely on our legitimate interest in offering a service to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), weighed against yours, and we write only where the law of the country you work in permits it. Before a first message, your address is checked with an email verification service, which receives the address and nothing else.

Organisations are scored for how well the work would suit them. People are not scored, and a person decides on, writes and sends every message.

If you do not reply, your details are deleted twelve months after they were found, with any draft or note that carried them. If you reply, the conversation is kept for as long as it needs.

Stopping it

Every message carries a link. Using it stops Kwechis writing to that address, and to anyone else at your organisation, for good. Replying with the word unsubscribe, or writing to hello@kwechis.com, does the same.

The link does not contain your address, only a one-way code made from it. Opening the link records nothing. Pressing the button on the page, or your mail client’s own unsubscribe button, records that code, the time and which button was used — not your network address, and nothing else about you.

Your address then stays on a do-not-contact list permanently, because forgetting that you asked is the one deletion that would do you harm.

Who else handles it

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else’s marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or have its use restricted. You can object to being written to at any time, and that objection is final. Write to hello@kwechis.com, and you will have an answer within a month.

You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, at uodo.gov.pl.
